Radiation and Ganoderma

20. april 2011 wednesday

The nuclear crisis came amid the devastation wrought by the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami which the Japanese government says has claimed more than 10,000 lives.

The Prime Minister of Japan, Naoto Kan, said radioactivity around the stricken nuclear plant at Fukushima, 250 kilometers north of Tokyo, had "risen considerably" and reached harmful levels.

In a nationally televised statement, Prime Minister warned there are dangers of more leaks and told people living within 19 miles (30 kilometers) of the Dai-ichi complex to stay indoors to avoid potential health risks from the radiation. Due to the disaster, radiation becomes a focus of people's concern. Actually, radiation is everywhere in modern world. Today, people have increasingly relied on mobile phones, computers, micro-wave ovens, televisions and etc, which emit radiation and damage people's health.

Take mobile phone radiation as example, when being used, mobile phones transmit radio waves to the radiation base station. The human body will more or less absorb any kind of radio waves and hence bring about changes in human body, which is likely to affect people's health.

There are many ways to protect yourself from daily radiation. A simple measure is to place several potted cactus beside your computer as they can effectively absorb the radiation released by the computer.

For those who have a tight schedule or have to rush for work, the simplest way to curb radiation is by simply drinking 2 to 3 cups of green tea and eating an orange. As green tea can be assimilated by the body easily into a form of vitamin A, which is later synthesized into a substance called rhodopsin, it helps reducing radiation. Also, rhodopsin helps keeping our eyes see things clearly in the dark by improving the visual ability, and at the same time protects us from the hazard of the computer radiation.

Besides green tea, chrysanthemum tea, spirulina, and Sea buckthorn oil also play a role of anti-radiation. Take some foods which are rich in vitamin A and C such as carrots, cherries, apples, bean sprouts, tomatoes as a good measure to reduce the harmful effect of an indoor radiation.

Traditional Chinese medicines are also very helpful in the fight against radiation. Ganoderma Lucidum functions very well in this field. It is actually a medicinal mushroom commonly used in Asia as a treatment of cancer, in combination with other modern techniques of treatment.

Ganoderma belongs to the Polyporaceae group of the fungi family. They are more potent than Ginseng in radio-protectivity. It is often referred to as the 'King of Herbs'. It is non addictive and non toxic, and as a nutritional supplement, it's suitable for all ages. Many studies have been conducted on its function of anti-radiation.

Feed the test rats Ganoderma Oral Liquid by 2.5,5.0,15.0 ml/kg b.wt./d for 30 days, then put them under a whole body gamma beam illumination to obtain the data of the quantity changes of peripheral white blood cells, bone marrow cell micro nuclear rates, hemolysin of the test rats.

The researchers observed increased ability of the peripheral white blood cells, reduced bone marrow cell micro nuclear rates and enhanced hemolysin of the test rats after gamma beam illumination in the test rats fed Ganoderma Oral Liquid. Therefore, it was evidence that Ganoderma do have the function of assisting irradiation hazard protection.

Ganoderma is already well known and commonly used in Japan, so I am certain that with this Nuclear scare, the demand for Ganoderm in Japan will increase, as people try to do everything they can to protect themselves from radiation.

Other than having radio-protective property, Ganoderma has a wide range of benefits. For now, I express my condolence to the victim of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami on my warm wishes to the people of Japan.

The greatest benefit of the Ganoderma

7. december 2010 tuesday

The greatest benefit of the Ganoderma is the amazing way it helps boost the immune system, which is vital for people suffering from chronic illnesses. If you're prone to colds and allergies this coffee will work miracles in your life and overall well-being. The benefits are often noticed within the first week of drinking the coffee daily. You will begin to feel better and start noticing you are not getting sick as much as you did in the past.

Whether you prefer to call it Ganoderma Coffee or red reishi coffee, the benefits you will receive are the same. The Ganoderma mushroom has been used in primitive cultures for thousands of years, long before modern medicine was on the scene. Only recently has the world gotten wind of what early societies have always known, that this mushroom can work wonders in keeping people healthier. Often it used in Chinese medicine as part of an overall wellness regime, this coffee is an excellent addition to anyone's diet no matter regardless of your health, whether good or not. There are currently no known side effects to ganoderma and it has no addictive properties. It is also touted as one of the safest and most regarded herbs on the market today, and many people are discovering everyday. Not too many herbal supplements, and more importantly gourmet coffees can be thought of as a way to improve overall health.

Ganoderma Coffee

11. november 2010 thursday

Ganoderma Coffee is often used as an alternative to traditional medicine to treat disease, or it can be used as a complimentary treatment to traditional medicine. If you are allergic to prescription drugs that your doctor prescribes to you or you do not tolerate the drugs well, speak to your doctor about the possibility of replacing it with red reishi coffee beverage. They may or may not agree, but it's important to at least let your medical provider know what you are indenting on doing.

This coffee offers a wonderful part in helping to prevent cancer, heart attacks, high cholesterol, and elevated blood pressure. Ganoderma Coffee acts as a stress reliever as well as a mood stabilizer, thus alleviating anxiety and depression. Although the red reishi mushroom has been around for thousands of years, it has only been in recent years that Western society has began to take advantage of this wonderful ancient healing mushroom.

Ganoderma: King of Adaptogens

24. october 2010 sunday

One of nature’s great mysteries is the adaptogenic quality of certain plants. Keyword – adapt. Imagine a plant that is able to provide you with the right healing nudge, in the right amount, at the right time, in the right direction. Science has not been able to duplicate this confounding yet therapeutic action in any pharmaceutical agent.

Only one in 300 herbs is an adaptogen. An adaptogenic botanical for blood pressure will help reduce it for those with high blood pressure, and yet, taken by someone else with low blood pressure, the plant offers a gentle boost. An adaptogen for cholesterol will help boost the good (HDL) without raising the bad (LDL) cholesterol.

DXN Ganoderma is notably Nature’s crowning achievement in adaptogen science. Ganoderma’s balancing qualities offer support for both the body’s immune and nervous systems. Herbalists use Ganoderma to support allergies, bronchitis, viral infections and hypertension, Its adaptogenic effect also extends to detoxification, mood and appetite, vigor, and mental alertness.

But no organ enjoys Ganoderma’s attention more than the liver! With its 300-plus biochemical processes and functions, the liver has the most to gain from regular intake of nature’s strongest adaptogen. This proves to be the case in preliminary studies showing Reishi extract as an effective aid in hepatitis B, helping to reduce elevated liver enzymes.

Besides detoxification, stress reduction is a key aspect to Ganoderma’s adaptogenic qualities. No one escapes the stress of today’s busy world. Noise pollution, overwork, traffic, expenses and more add up to powerful and what’s worse – continuous—levels of stress.

Ganoderma’s adaptogenic qualities include:

- supports nerve function

- scavenges free radicals

- tones and improves immune system function

- helps detoxify and protect the liver

- reduces inflammation

- quells allergies
